No Spoilers

It’s rookie Officer Loren’s first day on the job and she’s pulled the unenviable task of babysitting a defunct precinct overnight for the buildings ‘Last Shift.’ As she enters the building she see’s her CO (commanding officer) banging on the wall or electrical panel down the hall. After gruff hello’s and a short tour of the now defunct police station the CO notifies Officer Loren that she’s here just to babysit the building overnight till the morning when the precinct doors will be locked for good. He notifies her she’ll be all alone but all 911 calls have been re-routed and she basically needs to be sitting at the front desk should overnight callers come through the front door. She’s been notified to tell anyone seeking police help to check with the main police station up the street as this station is closing down. Before her CO leaves for the night he tells our Officer Loren that a Hazmat team will be coming through sometime between the hours of 1am and 4am and to let them in to do their jobs.

This is a creepy almost non-stop horror fest with some decent jump scares and some not so decent ones, but not too many, just enough to not piss you off. There’s a deep psychological aspect to this story, maybe, but I did enjoy Last Shift. If you’re looking for a nice little horror movie to waste a couple hours you could definitely do much worse than Last Shift.
