No Spoilers

“What else does the yellow eyed man tell you?” wonders Sam. “I’m a secretary from Peoria and I’m not part of anything.”, Ava exclaims. “Those were subsonic .223 caliber rounds. He must have used a suppressor.”

Those lines alone should have you champing at the bit to find out what this is all about. No spoilers, it’s another episode of Supernatural. I’ve been watching this show for years now. In disjointed fashion watching whatever episode happen to be in the series on cable TV. So I tended to catch a lot of the first few seasons. I have a Netflix account now (don’t you?) and have started watching it in series, about 2 years ago. All grown up now and averaging an episode every month or so. Right now I’m at the point where Sam is starting to suspect himself of something, Dean has been hinting at it and when he ‘comes clean’ in what I will forever call ‘The One Tree’ scene, Dean tells Sam the message he left about Sam on their fathers soul searching death bed. And with that we’re turning into the home stretch that will be the smash series that foretell and become the ‘Croatoan Events’ in the coming season. So just finishing season 2 moving into season 3 this year.

Supernatural is one of my favorite shows for many reasons. It usually featured some paranormal and/or otherwise engaging story or theory and builds on it with the actions and undying love and drama of blood brothers, certain intrigue, high comedy and of course bewildering and horror story victimizations, villains and situations. These events when tied together just right gets you a long running TV series with customer appeal and continuing returns. I mean this show went on for 15 years. That puts it in The Simpsons, Friends, The X-Files and other top hit show territory so we can safely say it has a following. Hell, I watch it so it’s gotta be good 😉

If you haven’t seen Supernatural and enjoyed any one of those other long running series I mentioned above, then you can’t go wrong with Supernatural. It features all the tropes, the legends, the conspiracies even the farces. Lot’s of 80s music and power ballads (Generation X all the way beeeoootch) and it’s cool how they always introduce themselves to the public as some duo from 80s pop culture. Starting to watch it in series I think may have coincided with me moving into this new place, which was new two years ago. I think that implied comfort put me in the mood to start traditions so I started watching Supernatural again and in 2 years I’ve almost made it to the end of season 2. Before long Supernatural and I will be the best of friends. I mean shit I’ve still got 13 seasons to get through. I’m in for the long haul now… lol

Anyways, if you haven’t seen Supernatural or enjoyed even the indie made for TV series like ‘The Room’, or even the more commercial made for TV series ‘Heroes,’ Supernatural is another way to kill off the hours 48 minutes at a time. It’s so good I end up watching it the whole time so it’s a break me away from the constant looking and clicking and playing and working and whatever else I’m doing in the 4 other screens on my desktop driving me crazy/making me productive.

And so another life ends so a different one can began… Or go on. Or move to Oregon. I dunno, it’s a just another episode of Supernatural and it was the excuse I needed to write another article to stick on the blog site. Season 2s Episode 10 titled “Hunted” was the inspiration for these lines and the gratuitous blog post of course. You just can’t go wrong with Supernatural, it’s one of those fun roller coaster catastrophes you HAVE to watch because it’s so fun and was done so well for another smash hit television series.
